Blue painted butter tin from Bing & Grøndahl

Diameter with saucer 13 cm. This one has no decoration number. 1st grade with a few overglazed faults. The stamp shows that this is from 1899-1902. The blue painting is one of Bing & Grøndahl's oldest frames, usually painted on the scale shape that both the Empire and Måge frames are painted on, from 1895. This is painted on a fluted frame shape. The blue paint is Bing & Grøndahl's version of the mussel-painted frame.
