Bing & Grondahl Blue painted deep plate

This one only has the painter's signature, but we guarantee that it is from Bing & Grondahl.

It is in good condition with signs of wear and a 2 mm glaze crack on the top of the edge.

The Blue Painted is one of Bing & Grondahl's oldest frames, usually painted in the scale form that both the Empire and Måge frames are painted in, from 1895. This is painted in a fluted frame form. The Blue Painted is Bing & Grondahl's version of the blue-fluted frame.
