Akva blue sugar bowl from Holmegaard

Height 5.5 cm. Diameter 11 cm. The bowl is not signed, which is very normalt for some of the earlier designs from Per Lütken. Unusual bowl in Holmegaard's famous Akva blue color. The bowl mouth-blown and with polished stand surface. It has a fun crafted little handle which is a folded part of the bowl edge. It is very similar to the Bobolink by Per Lütken from 1950, and is perhaps a predecessor to this series. The bowl can be found in Per Lütken's "Black Book" as a unique item in clear glass from 1946.
