Adam green white wine glass
Height 12.5 cm.
Adam is one of the original import services from Belgian Val Saint Lambert.
Imports began in 1891 and production was transferred to Holmegaard in the years 1910-1930, when the glass was discontinued. Adam is also available in an uncut version called Eva. This was in production right up until the 1960s.
The cut on Adam is a guilloche. This is a technique where the glass is covered with wax in which small copper wheels run according to a set pattern. Guilloche is also known from enamel work on jewelry, where it forms a pattern or relief under the enamel.
