Rare mussel-painted full lace lid box

Length 16.5 cm. Width 14 cm. Height 10.5 cm.

Decoration number 1/1100. The stamps show that this is from 1898-1923. 1st grade. The bowl has a chip on the edge, but is otherwise in perfect condition. Royal Copenhagen began producing Blue Fluted as set no. 1 in 1775 and is still in production. The full lace set was added in 1886. The motif is a stylized version of the classic Chinese flower painting, which is several thousand years old.
