A pair of Blue Flower Curved inkwells with gold
Height 9 cm.
These are without model number. The set is signed from the period 1880-1890.
Royal Copenhagen began producing Blue Flower in 1779 as tableware no. 10. Production ceased over 200 years later in the 1990s.
Each bouquet is composed by the painter himself based on original plates from the 18th century. These included models for the main flower, side flowers and smaller bouquets.
The set is in generally good condition, despite their age. One inkwell has taken on a black color. This has a chip on a "branch" and a leaf on the lid. The other has a chip on the collar and a larger chip on the lid. They both have wear on the gold.
