Capella is issued in an average sorting at Gertrud Vasegaard's request.

Capella was designed by Gertrud Vasegaard in 1975 for Royal Copenhagen. The factory celebrated its 200th anniversary this year and therefore launched Capella as its anniversary set.

It consists of a minimum number of parts, as all are multifunctional. The saucer does not have a recess for the cup itself, as this is also the cake plate. The lid of the lidded dish is a bowl in itself, as is the lid of the terrine.

The frame is made of a rustic stoneware mass that gives Capella the unique look with iron stains and nuances that Gertrud Vasegaard was after.
