Berlinois white wine glass
SKU:4165
Height 12-13 cm.
Berlinois glass made by Holmegaard and Fyens glasswork from 1886 to around 1940.
Berlinois is the none cut version of Christian d.8 and was opposite Christian d.8 not manufactured for private use but for use in inns and pubs.
The only decoration of the glass is the button on the stem that makes it easy to hold on.
It is therefore a rare glass today, despite the large number produced. Many glasses have naturally been broken.
They have been produced up to 16 different sizes of this glass, from schnapps to champagne flutes.
