Mussel painted strike plate
Diameter 22 cm.
In 1976, the plate painters at Royal Copenhagen went on strike again over a disagreement over their wages, which they wanted to increase to DKK 31.50 per hour. During the strike, the painters volunteered to sit and paint paper plates with text pasted on the back.
