Royal Copenhagen began producing Blue Fluted Plate as tableware no. 1 in 1775 and continues to produce it. The motif is a stylized version of the classic Chinese flower painting, which is several thousand years old.
The bowl has the logo from DDPA, the Danish Public Petroleum Company.
It has some marks and stains in the glaze.
