Hornblæser candleholder by Christel and Christer Holmgren

Height 11 cm.

The candlestick was designed for and produced by Illums Bolighus in the 1960s.

The Hornblæser candlestick is made of solid cast iron and has space for 3 candles. It is also produced in a version with space for six candles.

The candlestick has lacquered "feet" so that it does not scratch a wooden table.

Christel and Christer Holmgren Exner are a Swedish/Austrian design couple who settled in Denmark in the 1960s. The couple have, among other things, designed Blå Time and Rosaline for Holmegaard, Melamine kitchen utensils for Rosti, steel for Lundtofte and much, much more.

It is original from the 1960s.
