Height 19.5 cm.
Xanadu is designed by Arje Griegst for Holmegaard. The glass fits the conch shell set that Arje Griegst designed for Royal Copenhagen.
The glass is made by a 5-part process, which has made it an extremely expensive glass to produce. The glass has an optical twist as the only decoration, which is achieved by blowing the glass into shape, then attaching the stem and twisting the optics inwards into the glass and finally breaking off the glass and heating the rim so that it appears soft and lip-friendly.
The glass was produced from 1982 and completely discontinued in 2002.
