Height 11.3 cm.
Mylenberg is the Danish glassworks with the shortest lifespan, only 11 years did the glassworks survive before financial problems made bankruptcy inevitable. Mylenberg was located on Gandrupgaard Gods near Aalborg and was owned by Chamberlain Mylius from the beginning in 1852, but from 1855 by Rathman and Kissmeyer, but problems arose already from 1860 and the works went to forced auction in 1863. Only one price list from Mylenberg has survived, from 1859, this mentions a number of goods sold "with cuts" which is probably a Danishization of the German "Glasausschnitt", and since a large number of the employees were German, it was chosen for convenience to use this word to describe the cut goods. The decoration of the glass is most likely attributed to Mylenberg. It has two opposing five-lobed oak leaves separated by a vertical bunch of grapes.
The glass is in good condition, with a small flaw on the edge and a sharp crack at the bottom and a strong purple tone in the glass.
