Height 10.3 cm.
Beautifully cut wine glass from the end of the 19th century. The glass is very similar to No. 1 from Holmegaard glassworks. Glass No. 1 appears in the works' catalogue from 1853 and is described as being sold both undecorated and with a floral cut, which is probably an oak leaf decoration. The cut is very similar to Holmegaard's classic cut with alternating two acorns at the top and two acorns at the bottom, replaced by leaves, but distinguished by the fact that they are often glossy and not matte cut. The shape of the glass differs slightly at the base, it is slightly angular and not rounded, which is characteristic of Danish glass from this period in the 19th century.
The glass has a clear sharp crack at the bottom and is in good condition.
