Jens Harald Quistgaard was a Danish sculptor and designer and one of the driving forces behind the spread of Danish Design. He quickly made a name for himself in the USA and Japan and his work is shown in several major museums in these countries. His great achievement was something as simple as a teak and steel cutlery from 1954. In the same year he founded the company "Dansk" which was his sales channel in, among other things, the USA. Jens Harald Quistgaard is the designer behind many of Raadvad's well-known kitchen utensils, including the famous can opener, "Shark".
