The vase is signed Holmegaard PL 17797.
This vase was designed by Christer Holmgreen for Holmegaard in 1955 and was discontinued—along with the "Maj Green" line—in the 1970s. It is one of the very few "Sapphire Blue vases not designed by Per Lütken.
The collection is not, strictly speaking, a series, but rather existing designs produced in this "Sapphire Blue" color. The same shapes—in blue, for example—were sold under the name "Maj Green."
The vase is in good condition with a minor mark.
