Mitra brooth spoonfrom Georg Jensen
Length 16.5 cm.
Mitra was designed by Gundorph Albertus, Georg Jensen's brother-in-law, in 1941. Silver was in short supply during World War II, so the cutlery was made of steel, as Georg Jensen's first item.
There have been close to 100 different parts in the production of this cutlery. The handle of the cutlery is shaped like a Catholic bishop's hat, a miter, hence the name.
