Unusually detailed miniature from the late 18th century. The miniature shows a nobleman dressed in a classic yellow jacket, with white hair tied up in a black ribbon. Around his neck he wears an order, a red Maltese cross on a yellow ribbon.
The picture is behind glass in a gilded brass frame. The small size of the picture and its back indicate that it was intended to be hung on a chain on the chest or around the neck as a piece of jewelry.
A piece of paper is attached to the back with unclear writing. The picture is in good condition.
