Beskrivelse
Height 10 cm.
The glass is from the early 19th century and heavily cut with a coat of arms and mirror monogram.
The glass's fine cuts, its polished mark on the bottom and Sponneck's 3-part family tree indicate that the glass was made in Germany or Bohemia.
Von Sponneck can be traced back to 1697 and is still found in smaller branches in, among others, South Africa. The glass has the name AR or RA, cut under a German count's crown. Between the two oval cartouches is cut a flower vine, with fine details.
The coat of arms is exceptionally finely polished - please see all the pictures.
It is in good condition with some glass disease and a mark on the edge, tried to show in a picture.
