Height 23 cm.
A charming vintage flagpole held by a figure made of brass and old Danish coins. It incorporates 2-øre and 5-øre coins from the 1920s and 1960s.
The tradition of creating objects from coins emerged during the interwar period and continued after World War II. These items were often given as gifts based on the belief that having coins in the home ensured one would never face poverty; they were presented in the hope of future prosperity.
