English tantalus

Older English tantalus with three carafes in cut crystal from the 1920s.

The tantalus is made of oak with a handle in brass and fittings in patinated silver-plated metal.

The decanters are in a classic shape, square with ground glass and multi-faceted stopper.
There is a slight difference between the decanters and all 3 decanters have a few small defects, chips on the stoppers and a bit of glass sickness. The lock is working but its a bit tricky to use.

Despite its flaws, the tantalus is still very decorative, charming and certainly useful.
