Victorian decanter

Price: 400.- DKK per item

Height 31 cm.

A beautiful English 19th century mould blown carafe. The carafe is with the original original hollow blown stopper and the set dates to the early Victorian period around 1840-1850 and has been in production until around 1890.

The decanter is in bell form, the base of the neck with a convex neck ring and the body with eight vertical pillars extending from the shoulder to the underside of the base and finished with a polished pontil.

The original pear-shaped hollow blown plug has the same eight-striped design as the carafe and is ground to fit the neck of the carafe.

The carafe is in good condition.
