Gisselfeld was designed by Jacob E. Bang in 1933 and taken out of production in 1970.

Gisselfeld gained a great popularity and is produced in at least 18 different sizes, from schnapps glass to ice plates and decanters.

Gisselfeld have been produced with and without the golden edges and with a matte edge instead. During the Second World War a limited amount of glasses was made with a floral motiv cut on the sides.

The pitcher is in perfect condition with a hint of purple in the glass.
