Beautiful beer glass from Kastrup Glasværk from the late 1800s.
The glass is mouth blown in fine and clear crystal glass with an etched decoration.
It is decorated with small dense sinus waves and an open meander border, bort a la grecque.
The decor on the glass is a guilloche pattern. This is a technique where the glass is covered with wax in which small copper wheels run according to a set drawing. This technique was taken out of service in 1910.

The glass is mentioned in Kastrup's Glasværk's catalog from 1886, as being "Porterglas Løber 233". It is also available in a smaller model, called "Toddyglas Løber 237". This small model is seen in the catalog from 1910 and 1924, whereas this large model is not seen after the 1886 catalog.

The glass is in perfect condition.
