6 Oreste liqueur bowls from Holmegaard

Set of six rare Oreste liqueur bowls - We've never seen these before.
Oreste is originally a Belgian import glass from Val Saint Lambert.

Holmegaard made the first import agreement with this glasswork in 1871 for 34 glass series and even produces a number of these in the period 1910-1930, on a license.

Today it is not possible to separate the Danish glass from the imported glass. Oreste was sold in Denmark between 1915 and 1962. The glass is made of lead crystal glass and has a nice ring to it.
