In 1983, Michael Bang designed a series of decanters for Holmegaard glasswork, named after danish islands. He designed seven carafels: Bogø, Fanø, Fejø, Livø, Mandø, Samsø and Venø.

Fejø is made in two pieces, the square bottom is blown into a mold and then attached to the top that has the classical "Kluk flask" shape but in a twisted version.
