Produktinformation
Beskrivelse
Diameter 32 cm.
Rare blue fluted fluted originally intended for a plat de menage display.
The dish is factory marked with the 3 waves and a dot as a painter's mark. This mark is not identified as a specific painter, but the parts known with this mark are all from the factory's first period up to the year 1800. They are all characterized by a great degree of detail and a very experienced painter.
The dish has an old chip on the stand edge and on the top there are 4 unglazed circles. Originally there were 4 small holders for oil or vinegar jugs, between which spice jars were placed and in the middle a large figure. They fell off during the firing and are not a later grinding. This is revealed by the fact that you can see and feel the fluted porcelain, which would not be possible if it was a later grinding, as the flutes had then been ground off. A similar dish is shown on the front page of "Kongelige Dansk 1775-1820" by Lauritz G. Dorenfeldt.
