Clear tulip glass from Holmegaard
Height 10.2 cm. Tulip glasses are first seen in Holmegaard Glasværk's catalog from 1867 and where they are offered for the last time in the catalog from 1915. They are offered in at least six colors and with gilded decoration, which were offered at double the price, which are very rare today. The glass is mouth-blown and has a sharp crack underneath indicating that the glass is from before 1880. It is in good condition with natural dullness, which is almost impossible to avoid in clear glass.
