Produktinformation
Beskrivelse
Diameter 24 cm.
Length with handle 39 cm.
The saucepan is signed "3", for Raben Svardalyhn who was employed in the period 1779 to 1814.
The very gray porcelain is due to delivery difficulties of kaolin from France, due to the Napoleonic Wars that raged in Europe from 1803 to 1815. This lidded dish is therefore from 1803 to 1814.
During this period, Royal Copenhagen had to use kaolin from Bornholm, which was not nearly as pure as the French. This period is referred to as the "2nd Bornholm period". The first was at the beginning of the factory's life.
The saucepan is missing its lid and has a crack.
