Nice sea blue wavy bowl with white twisted threads and white edge from Fyens Glasværk. The bowl is shown in Fyens Glasværk's catalog from 1910.
It was customary to have a business card bowl standing at the end of the 1800s, when you put your business card in it during a visit, if the host had not been at home and you had been received by the servants. Then the lady of the house would review these and plan visits to the guests of the house she had not been able to receive.
The bowl is in perfect condition with two production cracks at the edge. The white line is not broken, so it cant be from usage.
