A pair of brass stands by Jens Harald Quistgaard
Height 11.5 cm.
Jens Harald Quistgaard was a Danish sculptor and designer and one of the driving forces behind the spread of Danish Design. He quickly became popular in the USA and Japan and his work is shown in several large museums in these countries.
His big breakthrough was something as simple as a piece of cutlery in teak and steel from 1954. In the same year, he founded the company "Dansk", which was his sales channel in e.g. USA. Jens Harald Quistgaard is the designer behind many of Raadvad's well-known kitchen tools, including the well-known can opener, "The Shark".
The stands are in good condition with some marks on the metal.
