Japanese box for matches

Length 6 cm. Width 4 cm. Fine metal box for matches from the end of the 19th century. The sides of the box are in dark patinated metal with golden motifs and characters. The cover shows a house at the foot of the Fukuyama volcano. The back is with script. It is in good condition with expected signs of use.
