Designed by Christian Thomsen. Children in nature is the theme of the plates. Children's Aid Day was introduced in 1904 to support the conditions of vulnerable children. A market day would be held annually, the purpose of which was to raise money.
From the beginning, the Children's Aid Day was fortunate to gain support from well-known figures, such as Herman Bang and Betty Nansen and later Dirch Passer and Lone Hertz. Christian the 9th participated in the Children's Aid Day in 1904 and later Queen Ingrid became patron of the Children's Aid Day.
The plates were published in the period 1910 to 1940, simultaneously with Aluminia's version and for a short time together with Aluminia's well-known Children's Aid Day figures drawn by Herluf Jensenius.
