Blue Fluted Strike Plate from 1976

In 1976, the plate painters at Royal Copenhagen went on strike again due to a wage dispute; they were seeking an hourly rate of 31.50 kroner. During the strike, the painters volunteered to paint paper plates featuring text pasted on the back.

The text read: "Get a work of art for a ten-krone note. In doing so, you support our struggle regarding the low-wage issue at the Royal Porcelain Factory."

A joint meeting was held on August 23, 1976, during which this record—a 45 rpm single—was recorded.

It contains four songs and is in good condition. We have never seen this item before.
