Original photograph from 1898 of the then-Crown Prince Christian and Crown Princess Alexandrine, dated May 26, 1898, and inscribed.
On this date, the Crown Princely couple returned home following their wedding, which had taken place in Cannes on April 26 of the same year. On their way back, they visited Schwerin, Alexandrine's hometown.
The photograph was taken by Royal Court Photographer Carl Sonne and is signed by Alexandrine and Crown Prince Christian.
It is in excellent, well-preserved condition.
